The overall coverage you get from our sunscreens is measured in SPF value, however, we account for both types of harmful sun rays that damage the skin, and while we do not use the PPD or PA+ system to measure our UVA protection factor, you can rest assured that our sunscreens will give you both UVB and UVA protection.
The PPD and PA+ systems are not used in the United States and the FDA doesn't allow for any sun protection claims other than SPF claims in products sold in the US. In the US, it's important to look for 'Broad Spectrum Sun Protection' claims, which means that the formulas have passed third-party clinical SPF validation tests for both UVA and UVB protection. All of our formulas are independently tested for UVA and UVB protection.
